Ed's Bar up in flames

Update: 12:25PM THE landmark Ed's Bar at Martintar in Nadi went up in flames last night.

Only a swift response by fire crews from the National Fire Authority managed to contain the fire from completely destroying the building and adjacent businesses.

According to witnesses, the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen at about 9pm and then spread throughout the building.
